AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): A woman injured after an attack by a drug addicted person. The incident took place in MC Tilla Para of North Gandhigram Panchayat under Airport Police Station. After the incident the affected woman was taken to GB Hospital for treatment.

After the incident the local people detain the accused, Kudu Debnath of same area

According to the report, the victim's family contacted with PS after the incident but it is alleged that the Airport PS Police did not come to the scene immediately, oppositely the victim family was asked to bring the victim at PS for logging an FIR.

The common public of the area has shown angst on the role of Airport PS police for not coming to the incident spot.
