AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Indigo flight cancellation refunding and rescheduling will start after Dec 10, a passenger told the media who was informed about flight cancellation at Agartala Airport. She said the airline is adamant as it runs under no control of the governments. The passenger also criticized IndiGo for not sending SMS notifications about the cancellation and for requiring passengers to stand in line for refund information.
The passenger at Agartala Airport expressed frustration after IndiGo cancelled its flights, stating that the airline informed them of the cancellation upon arrival.
The airline reportedly told passengers that refunding and rescheduling would begin after December 10. However, the passenger pointed out that this timeline wouldn't work for their plans to visit Indore.
“We came to know about the flight cancellation after reaching the airport. They have cancelled all flights. Regarding refunding or rescheduling — they said after December 10 only they will go with the process. But we do not need to go to Indore after December 10,” said a passenger whose get together plan was cancelled for Indore.
“They should have sent SMS to us about flight cancellation but they are so adamant that they won’t do it,” she said.
“Now for refunding we have to stand in rows to ask them how to get the refund,” she added.
