AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Theft cases have increased rampantly in state, resulting the common people reeling under security-less conditions. Reportedly a theft case occurred at Rangutia village under Bamutia police outpost on Tuesday night. Around 1 o'clock in the night, a group of thieves raided the shop of a man named Manish Pal, broke the lock of the shop and ran away with various items including cash.

A case was filed at Bamutia police outpost.

According to the local people, this theft may have been organized due to lack of sources of income.

 However, the theft case has generated panic in the area.
