AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Tripura has turned criminals’ paradise with a collapsed law and order situation, marking the state’s reputation at top of political violence in Northeast India, making public lives insecure everyday. A violent attack was reported on Saturday night on Keshab Sarkar's home by BJP goons in presence of Police. His house was looted, cash, gold ornaments were taken away. Allegations raised against the infamous traitor young BJP politician, MLA Sushanta Chowdhury behind the attack, who has been a very close person to sacked CM Biplab Deb who got a Ministry in exchange for organizing violence in the state which added to a recent murder attempt of Sushanta’s own mentor Sudip Barman. Saturday’s attack took place in front of the Police at Majlishpur whereas the Police miserably have failed to arrest anyone so far.
Such violent attacks, amid the jobless situation, have continued to spoil BJP’s image in the state further. Tripura already has set itself as a symbol of BJP’s dictatorship nationally either through its political riot or broad daylight attacks on media.
The political-violence culture which was cultivated under sacked, former CM Biplab Deb based on every day, crime and attacks on the opposition, could not overcome even after a new CM was introduced in the state, who called for peace.
Amid the new CM Manik Saha’s repeated warning against the criminals, sacked Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s faction continues attacks on common men, targeting to malign the new CM’s image just like after by-poll results on 26th July categorically Biplab Deb’s group without any provocation held a broad daylight attack at Congress Bhawan unnecessarily.
