AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): On Monday night, some BJP miscreants severely beat up two senior citizens at two places under Majlishpur Assembly Constituency. After the incident Congress leaders to meet with injured visited GB Hospital on Thursday and condemned the incident strongly. Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman said, “Limitation of brutality has crossed, the senior citizens were injured mentally more than physically as they are senior citizens, those who had beaten up, they were probably younger than his Grandson’s age.”

Those who were injured after BJP miscreants attacked were not linked up with any Congress Program in depth, said Barman. Barman also stated that one of the injured was Congress, another was CPIM then joined BJP, but due to maintaining distance with BJP the senior citizen was attacked.

The attack on senior Citizens under Majlishpur, which is Minister Sushanta Choudhury’s Assembly Constituency, Barman introduces the attack as ‘JANLEWA HAMLA (Deadly Attack)’ and the attack was organised with an intention to kill.

Barman expressed huge resentment over Police’s role as the Police since after the attack yet not came to the spot to inquire about the incident. Those incidents are an example of ‘Lawlessness situation’, which will bounce back, added Barman.

Where new CM Manik Saha after taking oath has assured that he will fix the ‘Lawlessness Situation’ in Tripura, but his assurance drowned under the shed of ‘Fake Assurance’, which means the existence of the ‘JungleRaaj’ is still there in Manik Era, unlike Biplab Regime.
