AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Teachers’ crisis continues to disrupt the basic Education system in Tripura schools. In Indira Colony Senior Basic School students are heavily suffering due to low numbers of teachers amid the exams nearby. There are only 3 teachers in the Entire School which have paralyzed the school Education there. Teachers Expressed Frustration over collapsing system inside the school, and demanded that the State Govt must recruit sufficient numbers of teachers. Talking to a teacher, she said, “What can we do when there are so low numbers of teachers? Two teachers have taken retirement and two were sacked in 10323 teachers’ case and our school remained just as a skeleton. We demand more teachers in our school”.
From various schools, similar complaints are coming out as teachers’ drought is a real issue.
Tripura is loaded with unemployment rates where over 3,500 TET qualified youths are unemployed but the State Govt has no intention to recruit sufficient numbers of teachers.
