KANCHANPUR, July 21 (TIWN): Teachers’ crisis hit the Govt schools and the State Govt is under heavy pressure to recruit teachers when 3,500 TET Qualified candidates are roaming jobless. Over 20,000 posts for the teacher are vacant under State Education Dept and due to the teachers’ crisis classes are paralyzed. On Thursday, students of Dasda High School blocked road in protest against transfers of teachers when already the school was suffering due to a shortage of teachers. Students demanded more numbers of teachers in the classes. The crisis has hit the schools in Tripura though Education Dept is helpless as the Govt yet to nod for all TET qualifiers recruitment together.

If the 3500 TET qualifiers are not recruited together, how the December 2022 TET will be held ? If it is held, when will they be recruited ?

There should be two TET exams per year but the BJP Govt is creating huge backlogs under the Dept and the burden of unemployed qualified candidates.

Everyday, many school students are parallelly protesting against the teachers’ crisis.

Unemployed Youths, Opposition Parties demanded that all the TET qualified candidates should be recruited together before the Durga puja 2022.
