AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): In an interview with a Northeast based channel host, Tripura ADC ruling Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya stated that unless any political party guarantees Tipra Motha in writing on Tipraland there will no alliance with any party. He also stated, no Political party can win the upcoming 2023 election without help of Tipra Motha. He said, Tipra Motha will be the largest seat winner party in 2023 and at least will fight in 40 seats.

“Earlier, my target was 30 seats but after Surma by-poll results, I am determined that we are going to fight in 40 seats. If no political party can agree with us, we will fight alone”, said Pradyot Manikya.

On being asked, why there is no such proposal from the BJP yet, Pradyot Manikya said, “BJP is assuming Tipra Motha is also like other regional parties of India and the BJP thinks, just before the election there will be some photo-ops and signature and that’s how by fooling people it can win the upcoming poll. If not now, BJP has to come to us for help after the election result declaration. BJP MP Rebati Tripura is with us but he can’t say it for his political restrictions”.

Manikya added, doors are also open for Congress, CPI-M parties but unless any party agrees by Tipraland demand and assures in writing, there will be no talk.
