AGARTALA, January 7 (TIWN): Police personnel of East Agartala Police Station found one pistol, two rounds of bullets and one dager at Shiv nagar area near ODC club, here today.

According to police, some Agartala Municipal Corporation workers were cleaning the drains of Shiv nagar area when they saw a pistol, two rounds of bullets and one dager at Shiv nagar area near ODC club. Immediately they contacted the East Agartala Police Station.

After getting the information police personnel from East Agartala Police Station rushed to the spot and recovered the pistol, two rounds of bullets and one dager.

Police said that we are not sure about the category of the pistol but it looks like 9mm pistol. Only the experts can specify the category of the pistol.

Police suspect that the pistol and dager may belong to some antisocial of the area. Investigation is on and we are  trying our best to trace the owner of the pistol, said cops.
