AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Congress on Thursday organized a victory celebration program in Agartala-6 and felicitated the winner candidate Sudip Roy Barman.

A rally was organized to mark the celebration in the presence of thousands of party workers.

Congress has entered Assembly after 7 years with the return of Sudip Barman to the party quitting BJP marking a consistent victory in Agartala-6.

On being asked by media, Sudip Barman said, “It is not a victory rally. There is no slogan but we want to thank the people who voted for us amid heavy rigging, violence and terror”.
