AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): After the By-Poll result declared in Khowai, BJP miscreants allegedly raising ‘Joy Shree Ram’ Slogan set fire in Khowai Congress Bhawan. Though reportedly, there was no one inside the Congress Bhawan during the incident.

The miscreants primarily smashed the furniture of the four rooms of the Congress Bhawan and then by pouring petrol set fire on it. During the incident MLA Bishketu Debbarma was crossing in front of the Bhawan and over hundred BJP-affiliated miscreants vandalised MLA Bishketu Debbarma’s vehicle.

Talking with one Khowai Congress supporter it is known, after Sudip Roy Barman’s Victory, BJP goons became frustrated and vandalised and set fire on Khowai Congress Bhawan.

Around 200-250 chairs were vandalised and all important Documents burnt into ashes.
