AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Tipra Motha chairman Pradyot Manikya has congratulated Tipra Motha party candidate and workers at Surma constituency for successfully giving a tight battle to BJP in an SC seat, where the first time any regional party was succeeded to send any candidate.

In social media post, Pradyot Manikya also has appealed to the Tipra Motha workers to help the people who are targeted due to violence.

Pradyot Manikya’s posted, “I am proud of my warriors - you have created a history .BJP will have an MLA for 6 months and after from 2023 it will be ours . First time in the history a regional party has come second from a non ST Seat ahead of CPIM and TMC . We will prepare for 2023 even more stronger from now on”.

He added in a fresh post, “I appeal to all my YTF Warriors to go and protect all those people especially the minorities and SC who have voted for us . Stand by them in their bad days and they will stand by us after 6 months”.
