AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Occupied Chief Minister’s residence now has to be vacated by sacked Chief Minister Biplab Deb, as new CM Manik Saha has won amid “chappa vote” allegations. Former CM Biplab Deb was sacked over corruption but he did not vacate CM quarter even though massive criticism took place and also continues to use massive security foreces in illegal manner. However, most likely, Deb will vacate the quarter now as BJP’s CM candidate Manik Saha won in the constitutionally mandated poll.
On the other hand, Biplab Deb set a target at Agartala-6 constituency and his major enemy Sudip Barman was targeted with personal interest taken by him. Via Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Sudip Barman was attempted to be murdered but finally, Barman has won over all intrigues and amid heavy rigging and fake vote casting attempts by BJP, Sudip Barman has won. So Biplab Deb is jolted from all sides.
Confirmed sources said about BJP’s infighting and Biplab Deb group’s attempt to weaken CM candidate Manik Saha’s vote bases.
