AGARTALA, January 7 (TIWN):The highly placed source, of the Bishalgarh RD Block revealed scamster Bimal’s involvement with massive embezzlement of money. Beside it was also revealed that how starting from the SDM to DM knowing every fact remained backtrack and has been playing a role of a silent spectator. The letter that the TIWN collected from a highly placed source of the Bishalgarh RD Block demonstrated that scamster Bimal Chakroborty on a letter to Bishalgarh DM placed on March 6, 2013 asked for the requisition of fund amounting Rs. 29.76 lakh in the name of the implementation of worker under the Bishalgarh RD Block.

What makes the story more interesting here is that scamster Bimal Chakroborty on his fund requisition letter to the Bishalgarh DM has shown a cost of Rs. 3.50 lakh that he has spent for buying flowers to decorate State guest house and Governor House on the occasion of oath taking ceremony after assembly election.

It showed that scamster Bimal with a total of cost of Rs. 3.50 lakh has brought flowers for the decoration of State Guest house and Governor House on the occasion of oath taking ceremony after the assembly election, maintenance of Bishalgarh Town hall at office tilla with a total cost of Rs. 4.25 lakh, and others. But most interestingly Rs. 3.50 lakh of flowers for the decoration of State Guest house and Governor House on the occasion of oath taking ceremony has raised a several questions among the common people of the state.

Besides, what makes the story interesting is that knowing every fact starting from the DM to SDM had played a role of a silent spectator. Earlier during the investigation of the Bishalgarh RD Block the IO when asked about the delay of the investigation he alleged that the concerned administration has not been extending their helping hand by any means and has not been providing any necessary documents that may boost up the investigation.

However, it is mentionable here that the scamster and the former BDO of the Bishalgarh RD Block is currently undergoing trial and is in police custody at Bishalgarh central jail.   

This 2 letters of scamstar Bimol Chakraborty proves that he enjoyed super power in functioning as BDO . He indulged in foul functioning by incurring MGNREGA funds for other utility which was not permitted by finance rule. it is also proved that the then DM also knew all these misdeeds and also was a sponsor of the bisalghar episode.DM has been kept out of the grip of law.
