KHOWAI, June 21 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s Quality Education is under question marks. Reportedly, Gourangatila H.S School in Khowai subdivision runs with shortages of teachers, infrastructure and lack of electricity connection. Paralysed Education system forced the School student to block Khowai-Teliamura road.
Talking with the School student it is known there are shortages of teachers for many subjects, lack of classrooms, lack of electricity connection, poor infrastructure, lack of toilets, no Library room in the school. Meanwhile, students continue to suffer. The students alleged that after rain, rain water falls inside the classroom. The matter was reported to the School authority for the past 3 years repeatedly but no initiative taken to resolve this issue.
Paralysed Education system forced the School students to blockade Khowai-Teliamura road, the blockade lasted for a couple of hours and due to road blockade vehicles got stuck from both sides and passengers had to suffer due to the blockade.
The angst students stated that they will not stop until their matter is resolved.
