AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Late on Sunday night at around 2-2:30 am miscreants targeted Asim Sarkar’s house in Datta Chowmuhani area near Khayerpur bypass. Talking with the victim family it is known miscreants last night entered in Asim Sarkar’s house and asked his old parents about him, after knowing Ashim’s absence in his home, the miscreants holding guns on Ashim old aged father’s head looted gold, silver ornaments cash and other valuable items.

Centering the incident Ashim before the media said that after the 2018 Assembly Poll result, he had to left house due to Political pressure. He also said that several times miscreants targeted their house and such type of incident had happened earlier too.

Police were informed after the incident but Police did not reach the incident spot immediately.

Asim Sarkar is DYFI president of the Jirania division and yesterday’s incident was politically motivated with an intention to kill.

Such incidents raises finger that under BJP era Law and order extremely deteriorated, even the new CM Manik Saha too not taking any action against the miscreants.
