AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Veterinary College Intern Doctors in Bodhjungnagar have been paid less stipend as per workload. The matter was taken to the college authority repeatedly but the College authority citing Financial Crisis and various issues refused to pay them.
Seeing slumber role the College intern Doctors called for work strike and started protest at the main gate of Bodhjungnagar Veterinary College by locking gate
After 2-3 days of work strike on Saturday the College authority talked with the College intern Doctors, and after discussion with the intern Doctors the internees decided to withdraw their Work strike. An agitator said that based on College authorities’ statement they have paused their Work strike for now and they will start their protest again if their demands are not met.
