Agartala: 40 years old man drowned in River on Saturday morning in Bitterban area

AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): A 40 year old man drowned in a river in Ranjit Nagar Khejur Math area under Ramnagar outpost. The man was identified as Shiraj Miah, a rickshaw Puller.
Eyewitness immediately informed to local PS, Police rushed at spot and NDRF team was informed, as per claimed the NDRF team did not reach to the spot at right time.
According to the eyewitnesses, the man drowned in the river at around 8:30 am in the morning while catching fish. So far the drowned man was not traced.
