AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): After common people now BJP’s Pristha Pramukh raises allegations against the Municipal council for failing to provide basic services in Belonia. Reportedly, the locals of Swasti Para adjacent to Bilonia English Medium School have been suffering from stench as piles of garbage have created. The matter was informed to MLA and the local leaders but the local leaders have not taken any initiative to clean the drain filled with garbage.

Due to garbage on the drain, the water does not pass after rain and the rain water enters into Public’s house and creates water-logging in local public’s houses, moreover from the stench has spread a breathe-less situation over the area, resulting local people faces trouble to breathe in this area. The area falls under Ward No-11, councillor of this ward is Champa Pal also not coming forward to solve the problem, alleged locals.

Almost 30 families are residing in this area and the local people alleged the authority did not take initiative to clean the drain in last 4 years filled with garbage. And noticing the negligence role, the locals expressed the entire details before the media. 

However, it has now remained to be seen when the local public will get relief from the breathe-less, suffocated situation.
