AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Death Toll of 10,323 teachers raised to 134. A young aged teacher identified as Tarun Kanti Debbarma (40), resident of Kamrrangapara in Kamalpur died after a heart attack due to mental depression. It is known he suddenly fell ill and immediately he was taken to Kamalpur Hospital from where he was referred to Agartala GB hospital, where he breathed last at around 1 o'clock last night.
After job loss he has been suffering from mental pressure which pushed him to the path of death at a very early age.
A JMC teacher said that after job loss on 31st March 2020, all 10,323 teachers have been going through pathetic situations. Many of the teachers have become day-labourer and many are not finding works to run livelihood. The teacher blaming the Govt said that due to Govt’s irresponsibility all these death tolls are rising.
