KAMALPUR, June 16 (TIWN): In a pre-poll violent attack, BJP workers injured Trinamool member Brajaballa Malakar’s family on Wednesday night. Even the kid of the house was not spared. A 3 years old baby received severe injuries in goons’ attack. The incident happened after the family joined Trinamool in a joining programme organized at poll-bound Surma constituency’s Chankap Bazar area. Trinamool leader Rajib Banerjee said, Brajaballa Malakar had joined Trinamool on Wednesday and as a result that deadly attack by BJP took place.

“Four persons were attacked in the incident. Even a child was not spared. What kind of politics is this in Tripura under BJP. Today’s incident proved that BJP lost its ground in Tripura and that is the reason why the BJP party is turning so violent”, said Rajib Banerjee.
