KAILASHAHAR, June 16 (TIWN): BJP workers on Wednesday held a protest against their own Govt after not getting response from the authority many times regarding unscientific soil digging, causing floods in Kailashahar’s few areas.

Agitators informed that from Airport area to Sonamura area in Kailashahar is under threat of flood as due to soil digging continuously vehicles are traveling over the barrage of Manu river, resulted the barrage is in miserable condition.

Previously, due to such issues, locals suffered from flood. Agitators said, Finance Dept also asked the Forest Dept to stop the work but no action was taken.

In protest, locals along with BJP workers protested, burnt tires.
