AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Radhakishorepur Police based on secret sources information led a raid in South Matabari area under Radhakishorepur PS on Tuesday afternoon and detained a youth identified as Akash Shil with a huge amount of Brown Sugar worth Rs 50,000. Along with Brown Sugar Rs 34,000 cash including mobile and a bike was seized by the Police.

The drug trafficker Akash Shil was arrested under NDPS and brought to the PS as he is involved in drug trafficking. It is noted that for a long time the accused Akash Shil was involved in this type of illegal drug dealing.

The search operation was carried out by a large police force led by Udaipur SDPO Dhruv Nath and Radhakishorepur PS OC Babul Das.

The rescue of Brown Sugar from the house on the basis of secret information caused a great stir in the whole area.
