AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): As anti-incumbency under the Draconian rule of sacked Chief Minister Biplab Deb generated among the public, the terminated CM’s close coterie like Ratan Lal Nath still are trying to restore the fear among public to prevent them from vote casting or participate in any political program, although the new Chief Minister Manik Saha has demanded a violence-free state and asked BJP to stop house to house attacks. On 31st May from the morning, 10 am to 1.30 PM BJP goons of Mohanpur organized house-to-house attacks. Today CPI-M leaders met the victims' families.
Victim families broke down before the leaders and said, give them freedom from such a monstrous Govt.
Addressing the media, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury condemned the violence. He stated, does not matter, how much BJP tries but people have now made up their minds to fight back the BJP.
