KASHBA, BISHALGARH, Jan 5 (TIWN): Indo-Bangla border Haat in Kashba seems to bring the miseries of the people living in Madhupur to Kashba KaliBari region to an end. After almost twenty years state govt has started to improve the existing road stretching from Madhupur Bazaar to Kashba KaliBari.

Kashba KaliBari of Kamalasagar is one if the favourite tourist destination in Tripura. But due to poor road connectivity except two and four wheelers, only a few vehicles are not going to Kashba KaliBari from Madhipur stoppage. Even the bus services of Tripura Urban Road Transport Corporation is now existed from Nagerjala to Madhupur Bazaar.
Apart from being a polar tourist destination Kamalasagar is also important as it is located in the Indo-Bangla border. The heavy vehicles used for security reasons used to face acute difficulties to reach Kashba due to the narrow road. But the Indo-Bangla border haat seems to make an overall improvement of the road as the breadth of the existing road is going to be extended soon. Already the roadside places have been filled up with red soil in many places.
It is to be mentioned here that the Indo-Bangla border haat at Kashba(Kamalasagar) is likely to be inaugurated  in the month of June. Accordingly NBCC workers are now busy in completing the on going construction. And it is now expected that by mid-April the extent ion and up gradation of the road from Madhupur Bazaar to Kashba KaliBari area will be completed.
Speaking to TIWN, abusinessmen of Kashba KaliBari area said on Sunday," It is really a matter of great encouragement that the Border Hast is likely to be operational by March. This will not only only improve trade rations but also many tourists will start coming to Kashba KaliBari from Bangladesh . Moreover, once the road is up graded , many more tourist buses will surely come here. This will help us financially."
