AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Death toll of 10,323 teachers’ are rising. Another teacher identified as Kamala Kanti Sinha (38), UGT, resident of Dolugaon area under Kailasahar subdivision left his last breath on Saturday early morning at 5am. The teacher died after ‘Brain Stroke’ at Ambassa while his family was bringing him to Agartala for better treatment.
JMC member Kamal Dey condoled hia death, prayed for the departed soul and requested the State Govt to solve the ‘10,323 Teachers' issue permanently’ and to stop the death rally.
In the past 4 months, reportedly a total 19 teachers have died, and in every month 5-7 teachers are dying in a row.
“The Govt and the Ministers are saying they are humanitarian towards us (10,323 teachers) but we can’t see any signs of humanity”, said JMC member Kamal Dey.
