AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): Though the Govt of Tripura claims that ‘Vision Document’ is almost completed and various demands were already fulfilled, BJP’s wing “Tripura Senior Citizens and Pensioners’ Sangha” is today on road seeking fulfillment of various pending demands.
In a deputation placed to the Chief Minister via District Magistrate, West, the agitators demanded clearance of 28% DA which is pending.
Moreover, Home-guards pension is still Rs. 750 till now, has been demanded to be hiked to Rs. 10,000 at least.
Pensioners’ medical allowance should be at least Rs. 2000 and old-age pension should be Rs. 2000.
Pensioners’ annual booster should be decreased from 80 to 75 years.
Pensions should be provided to all PSU employees like other State Govt employees.
