AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): JMC organised a press meet against ‘Illegal Termination’ on Saturday, condoled terminated teacher Taruni Malakar’s death last night in Belonia.

Bijoy Krishna Saha raising voice against ‘Illegal Termination’ said, “So far death Toll raised to 127... in the battle of 127 Para we lost 127 teachers, but the state Govt is is deep slumber”

In the press meet the teacher Bijoy Krishna Saha boldly stated, “In every moment we have been expressed before media that out job was not gone, court Judgement was misinterpreted”

“In 2014 Tanmoy Nath’s case Judgement came out then the state Govt appealed to the Supreme Court and after given Judgement in 2017 again the State Govt appealed to SC raising Shortage of Teacher, then the SC had extended their Job for next 6 months and that time the Teachers turned into adhoc teachers”, said Saha

Saha reading SC’s FIR Copy before media said, “I am to inform you that as per the record you are not a party in SLP No-18993219049/2014 title the State of Tripura and others v/s Tanmoy Nath and others”. It means the teachers are not the party of Tanmoy Nath’s case, as per SC judgement. Raising this Point the terminated teachers asked “If I am not the party then based on this Judgement How the Govt put Judgement effect on us?”

“Several times we have been stepped to Education Department’s authorities, Director Principal and Education Minister but they have not given any response. Since past 24/25 months our salary slashed illegally. It has happened 1st time in India History that a Govt terminated employee seeking termination letters, placed deputation to the department” added he.

However, JMC has decided that FIR will be lodged against the State Govt against the deaths and it will be done from 1st March in different Police Station's. JMC will visit the Secretariat on 14th March in groups to meet with the CM as they wanted to know what decision the State CM has taken to Solve their matter as per promises, informed JMC in the press meet.
