AGARTALA, Feb 3 (TIWN): Former Health Minister, BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman has criticized the health system under CM Biplab Deb. Reacting before media at the MLA hostel about the Dialysis disruption issue at the GB hospital, BJP MLA Sudip Barman said, “Just because I was the Health Minister, I would not comment about the system but one thing is sure that nobody is happy including patients and medical staff under the system. The people who are receiving service, they are not satisfied and the employees who are serving, they are too not happy. Everywhere there is anarchy. An arrogance and intolerance have hit the state’s system. Public are frustrated”, said Barman while briefing media on Dialysis problems of the GB hospital.
The statement from Barman came after on Thursday, alleging the miserable condition of the dialysis center, patient parties protested and talked to the media demanding immediate solutions to their problems. The Kidney Patients are suffering due to the Dialysis center's miserable condition in GB hospital led the regular patient parties to place a deputation before the Medical Super of GB hospital.
On being asked by the media about when he will quit BJP, Barman said, “Of course, it will be media persons who will know the matter first”.
