AGARTALA, Jan 29 (TIWN): A teacher named Prashanta Deb, 47 years old from Taidu area of Amarpur sub-division of Gomti district has been suffering from mental depression after he lost job, under 10323 teachers case. Last night around 1:30 am the teacher left his last breath. He died of a heart attack at his residence due to extreme mental stress. So far 125 death rates were reported but the Govt has not taken any initiative despite promising to keep their jobs.
It is known the demised teacher Prashanta Deb was a graduate teacher and was the sole bread earner of his family. He left his wife, a daughter studying in Standard-11, a son studying in Standard-7, and an old mother behind.
JMC teacher, Kamal Deb condoled the family and expressed huge resentment against the silent role of the State Govt. Kamal Deb said that by doing conspiracy the state govt is lengthening the death rate of 10,323 teachers.
Over Govt’s inhuman role Kamal Deb asked, “After how many deaths the state Govt will be sympathetic?”
