AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): Supreme Court’s term “Election Virus” was reflected in Tripura today, when CM Biplab Deb violated all Covid rules and guidelines. It was Tripura Govt that had prohibited all political, religious, and other gatherings due to Corona Virus, and yesterday, 10323 teachers were arrested and tortured brutally by police in the name of Corona virus. But today CM Biplab Deb joined a mass gathering and he was not wearing any mask during the entire programme. There was no social distancing and the entire programme was illegal as per Covid restrictions. However, as it is a BJP party’s programme, as expected, the police instead of taking action gave security to the programme.
Supreme Court yesterday used the term “Election Virus” to refer to how the various states are musing power against rivalry when elections are close by.
