AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): On ‘Black Day’, one more terminated teacher among 10323 teachers had passed away taking the death toll to 124. The demised teacher has been identified as Anil Das, a resident of Kamalghat, Mohanpur. In a press release, JMC said, “We are extremely saddened by the untimely demise of Lt. Anil Das (51). He breathed last yesterday. His residence is in Kamalghat, Mohanpur, West Tripura. Our deepest condolences to the family members. May his eternal soul rests in peace". Yesterday, 10323 teachers under JMC observed “Black Day” on the first anniversary of the barbaric attack on 10323 teachers on January 27, 2022. The terminated teachers demanded a permanent solution to their problem which was promised by the incumbent Govt to do. The 10323 teachers lost their jobs after Courts had cited irregularities in the recruitment process.
BJP before the 2018 Assembly Election verbally and in written forms promised to give a permanent solution to the teachers’ problems but after four years of the BJP Govt in Tripura, nothing could be done and so far the death toll among the 10323 teachers raised to 123.
