AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): BJP’s outgoing MLAs Sudip Barman, Asish Saha have been reviewing state political scenarios by visiting place to place. Today, Sudip Roy Barman visited Kalyanpur, held a meeting with party workers. On being asked, Sudip Barman told the media that before taking the final decision, they are talking to the people and former party workers, dissident party members, leaders and asking them what exactly they want. Sudip Roy Barman already has announced that he is not staying in the BJP party anymore and will cut the tag of BJP before 2023 election.
On Friday, BJP MLA Sudip Barman said, “One thing is clear that I am not going to stand in the upcoming Election 2023 with BJP’s symbol. I am visiting the state and I have already met the deprived party workers who left abandoned. Due to certain obstacles, I could not meet my friends but now there is no such obstacle. I am discussing with them what to do”.
On the other hand, PM Modi, Amit Shah, top BJP leaders are focusing on Tripura now to save its bastion in the Northeast, where party’s grip is on two states Assam and Tripura.
