AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Over 600 Radiography Pass-out students are Unemployed in Tripura. Though BJP before the 2018 election promised to fill up 50,000 existing vacant posts, so far the State Govt has not taken any step for massive recruitment. One of the unemployed job aspirants who came to meet the Health Department Director told TIWN, “It’s almost 10 to 11 years that I passed out but I got no job in my own state. If we go to private hospitals like ILS, a very low salary is offered. Tripura has no industry, no good source of income. But our parents gave all their savings, all earnings for our degree, and today, I feel ashamed to tell people that I am Radiography passed out. It has been years that no recruitment was done and in 2016 there was recruitment but very few numbers of candidates were selected”.
Another unemployed youth said, “We are sitting unemployed. We want jobs. We have only one urge to the Govt that is recruitment. We have no such plan to go for movements, protests because we want jobs”.
