AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): The 10,323 teachers who remained jobless for past 22 months a the death rate of 10,323 teachers raised to 122, today led by JMC Committee placed deputation to the Education Director Chandni Chandran at Siksha Bhawan demanding their lost job back as per Vision Document’s promise. The teachers mainly sought their termination letters.
Dalia Das, a terminated teacher said, “Till now 10 times we have placed deputation but no positive feedback we have received yet. We have visited the Education Minister and Chief Minister but no response was received. On 3rd Oct, 2020, CM himself promised that he will solve our Job issue permanently but till today he could not implement his own word.”
“Whether the CM intentionally does not want to solve our matter, or the Govt wants to see more death rallies, we are not sure” , said Dalia Das.
"122 teachers died yet after job lost, yesterday an UGT teacher, Digendra Malakar (48) died and he was the sole earner in his family. Who will take responsibility of demise 10,323 teachers' families?” asked the terminated teacher Dalia Das, centering on the increasing death cases of terminated teachers due to Financial and Mental pressure after Job loss.
