AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): On 2nd Dec State Govt imposed ‘The Policy to regulate private participation in School Education Sector in Tripura’ which means a policy towards the ‘Privatization of Education’. Opposing this Policy the AIPSF organisation placed deputation to the Director of Education Department with a demand to withdraw the Policy, as after imposing the Policy the Poor maximum students will be deprived of getting Free Education.
The State Government also took a decision of 'Mission 100' which means to bring 100 state Govt schools under Vidyajyoti Scheme, for which all students will have to pay Rs 1000 as infrastructure fee.
Demanding immediate withdrawal of the Govt’s anti-student policy, AIPSF placed deputation to the Director of Education Department as the fee will be a burden on the students.
Now it remains to be seen what steps will be taken against the ruling Govt decision.
