AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Raising various issues with 16 points demand Tafashili Jati Samannoy Samiti leaders organized press Meet at BR Ambedkar Bhawan in Melarmath, Agartala.

The demand was raised- Rule of law must be established to restore democracy in the state.  Vacancies in all government and semi-government departments should be filled immediately.  Recruitment process needs to be stopped through outsourcing. To pay Rs 600 of MNREGA wages, and to arrange work for 200 days, and Corruption against MNREGA works must be stopped.  Privatization of Education should be stopped. The culprits should be severely punished by revoking the fake SC certificate. The Tripura Scheduled Caste Development Corporation would have to provide more loans on easy terms. REGA Job card up to one lakh rupees should be accepted as guarantor.

To increase the stipend amount to SC students, SC/ ST and poor students need to be provided with the necessary materials for online classes in COVID situations. To control the price hike of Cooking gas, petrol-diesel, edible oil, medicine and other necessities of life. To provide Social allowance of Rs 2,000 and the Social allowance should not be cancelled.  Recipients of the allowance withheld will have to start the allowance immediately. 10,323 teachers need immediate recruitment, all irregular employees should be regularised immediately and employees must pay DA on regular basis. To provide Rs 7,500 in cash to the families who are not covered by income tax w and 10 kg of food per head per month free of cost. As per Govt promise Rs 10 lakh to provide to the deceased families who will lost their life due to COVID situation. The new electricity bill, the anti-labor code must be repealed immediately.

Tripura Tafashili Jati Samannoy Samiti also demanded to know why BJP-IPFT prior-poll Vision Document’s promises remain unfulfilled.
