AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Choudhury has slammed the BJP led Tripura Govt over deteriorating law and order conditions in Tripura. He has blamed the inactiveness of police for increasing crime.
In the BJP ruled state Tripura, at least 13 murders, 23 suicides, 12 unnatural deaths, 8 kidnappings, 12 crimes against women including rape incidents occurred. Reacting to the massive crime rate’s spike, CPI-M Secretary Jitendra Choudhury has slammed the State Govt over law and order conditions and pathetic economic conditions existing in the State. "Tripura has no Rule-of-Law; it is proven from the data. Two incidents have shocked the state. Out of them on 5th November two women were raped and then on 20th November, a woman was kidnapped in front of her husband and raped. Although few were arrested, no proper IPCs were imposed".
"In such crimes maximum times, the ruling BJP party's people are involved and no charge-sheet is filed against them. That's why such crimes are increasing", Choudhury said.
