AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): TPF Party activists called for 12 hours strike in Tripura over brutal murders of two TSR Jawans.

In Baramura area under Teliamura subdivision also, TPF had blocked road raising slogan “TPF Long Live” demanding immediate action against the killer of two Jawans. 

Police officer Sona Charan Jamatia and a large number of TSR and paramilitary personnel rushed to the agitation spot and arrested TPF party activists and brought them to Chitrangada Kala Kendra in Teliamura. Around 25-30 TPF activists have been detained by Teliamura police, Police sources said.

However, the strike did not have much effect in Teliamura subdivision but the traffic system collapsed and vehicles could not move for a few hours.
