Agartala, Dec 28 (TIWN): 13-day long Saras Mela- 2015 is scheduled to be started from January 03, next at Hapania international mela ground. The expo would be continued till January 15, next. With the initiative west district office of Rural Development Department (RDD), this expo will be organized.

Altogether 367 stalls would be unlocked during the expo. Among them, a total of 300 stalls will be given to the district wise Rural Development branches of the state while 30 stalls will be distributed among the other states and 37 will be allocated for the other departments of the state.

A vast number of Self Help Groups (SHGs) of many other states from across the country including Jammu & Kashmir, Maharastra, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa and Bihar, are likely to participate in the expo and a huge gathering is expected in the fair. The West district Rural Development office informed it in a gazette statement.
