Manik Sarkar blamed Congress-run Panchayats for corruption: Treated BJP as anti-common people

KAMALPUR, DEC. 26 (TIWN): “Congress-run 87 Panchayats of the state turned into dens of extreme embezzlement and corruption. But the Congress party failed to restrict the corruption and now blaming the State Government.”, told the Chief Minister and CPIM Politburo member Manik Sarkar as the Chief orator in the open session of 21st Sub divisional Conference of CPIM at Harachandra School ground, this evening.

In his long speech he further added: “Both the Congress and BJP are same in their attitude to safeguard the interests of the capitalist class. Congress led UPA Government started the process of investments and anti-commoners policies. BJP promised with alluring promises of ‘good days’ and now are keener than Congress to safeguard the capitalists. The plight of commoners further decorated. But the State Government is keen to safeguard the interests of laborer class and working with this aim. The only alternative for people is to protest the anti-people policies of the central government.” In the president ship of Kokum Debora, CPIM State Secretary Began Dear spoke against RSS and other Hindu fundamentalist forces.

After the open session, the conference started with 268 delegates from 9 local committees under this sub divisional committee. The conference would conclude on 28th December next with the formation of new Sub divisional committee.

However, people of Tripura already aware that CM loves all the corrupt elements of CPIM around him. Scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty was not only an close aide of CM but more like a younger brother.
