AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): The teaching job aspirants held protests various times seeking a solution after the board made a blunder of setting wrong / out of syllabus questions. But so far no solution was made and also the exam results were not given, forcing the job aspirants to stage protests. The issue turned worse after the TRBT authority refused to talk to the candidates in front of the media. The protesting students of teaching examinations said, everytime they come the authority completes a closed door talk with few of the students and this time they want the TRBT authority to talk to all students in front of the media. As the on-duty police personnel offered the candidates that only one of them can talk to the Board authority, the candidates sat in the gate blocking the entrance path and demonstrated. The protest continued for hours at the TRBT centre.
Talking to the media, one of the agitating job aspirants said, “On Sep 26, the TET-I examination was held whereas on Oct 3, the TET-II examination had completed but around 9 questions came out of syllabus. Not only that, many questions have multiple answers but all answers were together put in the multiple choice. Why would the student pay for the board’s mistakes ??”
“We met the authority four times earlier but getting no outcome of those meetings, we are bound to protest”, another candidate told the media.
