AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): Theft cases are increasing in a row in the entire state resulting, common people are haunted by lack of safety. A group of thieves targeted a temple in Amarpur named Mata Mangal Chandi and looted cash from Donation Box.
Reportedly, on Sunday morning, the priest of Mata Mangal Chandi temple observed the Donation Box was broken.
Noticing this, he immediately informed the temple committee. On being checked in CCTV it has seen that a young aged man entered the temple and looted cash from ‘Donation Box’.
Police started investigation but the thief yet not identified. Whether he was alone or came with group, it is unknown.
Several theft incidents occurred at the Amarpur Mata Mangalchandi temple, but no Security guards were appointed to guard the area.
Over increasing theft incidents various questions regarding security are raising among common people.
