AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): No relief for 10323 teachers who were terminated but promised by the existing Govt to reappoint them but after 2 years of job-loss, there is no solution to the 10323 teachers’ issue. By this time one more terminated teacher Pramod Debbarma (48), terminated UGT teacher from Padmabill, Khowai District has taken his last breath. He became ill following heavy stress since job-loss. Due to the financial crisis, the family could not take him for proper medical treatment also. Condoling his death, 10323 teacher JMC member Dipankar Debbarma said, “Promod Debbarma died of critical illness. He could not bear his medical expenditure and his death is not the end. If the Govt does not take appropriate action, then the death toll will rise more and more. Govt must come forward to rescue us".
“JMC is with the bereaved family and we pray for Promod Debbarma's soul”, added Dipankar Debbarma.
