UDAIPUR, Oct 18 (TIWN): The Agartala Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles organised organized a COVID-19 awareness campaign for the local populace of Killa village, Udaipur, Gomati District, Tripura on 19 Oct 2021.
The aim of the drive was to create awareness in the local population about the prevailing COVID-19 situation and the vaccination developed to fight against the deadly Virus. The awareness drive educated the villagers about the doses of vaccination, its importance and time schedule between two doses.
In addition, villagers were made aware of COVID-19 protocols, such as maintaining social distance, washing of hands, wearing masks properly and avoiding social gatherings and a need to stay at home till this situation is not over.
The awareness drive was attended by 40 locals from Killa village.
