AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Congress leader Gopal Roy has met Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya and raised demands that the Group-C and Group-D exams must be taken again after making PRTC mandatory.
Earlier also Gopal Roy raised the demand but State Govt did not change the decision of giving opportunity to other states’ youths to sit in Tripura exams for Group-C and Group-D posts.
Gopal Roy said that no state allows other states’ youths to sit in state exams but with some ill motive and to benefit known people of other states, the State Govt has done it.
Tripura recently took interviews for Group-C and Group-D posts for around 4000 posts but permanent residence certificate was not mandatory.
Gopal Roy said, it is a corruption just like the Govt did with liquor shop license issue where CM’s close people got licenses of multiple liquor shops, which is totally illegal.
