AGARTALA, Sep 15 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who claimed in his affidavit for completing 3 years graduation under Tripura University has continued with his gaffes for which he is infamous nationally since his political career began after becoming CM of Tripura. Time to time, Biplab Deb has given lectures on various issues in connection to technology which turned into MEMEs, portraying himself as a comedy figure of Indian politics, spoiling the reputation of the BJP party itself. Today on Engineer's Day Biplab Deb mentioned "MA, Engineer '' as a degree and netizens have trolled him for his foolish statement. However, this is not the first time that Biplab Deb has connected Science subjects with Master of Arts but this year on Saraswati Puja while delivering a speech at Tripura University, Biplab Deb said, "MA in Chemistry".

Earlier also Biplab Deb claimed that "Internet was existing in Mahabharata's time and it is not US but Internet was already existing in India when King Dritarastra was ruling the nation and with help of internet Sanjaya was telling Dritarashtra about what was happening in the war of Kurukshetra". 

CM Deb did not stop there and he advised Mechanical Engineers not to join Civil Services. He said, 'Civil Engineers only should join Civil Services'.
