AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): One more 10323 teacher named Litan Das (38), resident of AD Nagar has passed away today morning increasing the death toll to 107. The terminated teacher was reeling under severe tensions since job-losses multiplied due to Banks' pressure to clear loans. Tripura's 10323 teachers were terminated after the High Court and Supreme Court had given verdicts against the recruitment, verifying irregularities in the teachers' recruitment under the previous Left Govt. However, Left Govt had arranged 13,000 posts' recruitment immediately to save 10323 teachers lives but amid the recruitment back in 2017-18, BJP as the strongest opposition promised 10323 teachers to solve their problems permanently and thus requested the teachers' families to vote for the BJP in 2018 poll.
But though BJP won the election in 2018, after 3.5 years of Governance, BJP Govt failed to solve the teachers' issue and for last 20 months the 10323 teachers are left jobless.
So far, 107 teachers among 10323 teachers have died and most of them are young. Due to stress, lack of treatment, suicide, heart-attacks remained as the major reasons behind the teachers' deaths.
Family members of Late Litan Das are now fearing that their home also will be taken away by the Bank as they are unable to clear the EMI
Litan Das's mother broke down in tears at the crematorium and blamed Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath for her son's death.

10323 teachers requested many times to the State Govt to interfere in the Bank matters, but the Govt remained silent.
Question arises, as the Govt is claiming massive revenue income rise happened under the BJP Govt, why does not the Govt pay off the loans of the terminated teachers ?
