AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Agartala riot's chief accused persons like Papia Datta who after BJP's victory in 2018 entered DYFI leader Nilanjana Roy's home and beaten her up to many other accused of yesterday's violence walked in BJP's rally's front row today in Agartala. A meaningless rally was organized in Agartala when it is evident that BJP set fire across Agartala yesterday, caught in media footage as well as CCTV footages. However, as expected, no police action yet reported against them and also officially no condemnation came from CM Biplab Deb over attack on media houses. Violent attacks took place on 2 media houses in Agartala on Wednesday. Reportedly 4 journalists were injured after deadly attack led by BJP goons who chanted ‘Joy Shree Ram Slogan’.Amid strong evidence and CCTV footage no arrest so far was reported. The case has been handed-over to Crime Branch, another way to save the BJP culprits.

Centering Slumber role of Police administration 10 delegation members of ‘Assembly of Journalist’ met  the IG Arindam Nath and demanded immediate action should be taken against the identified goons. 

3 newspaper offices have been attacked in Tripura in the last 24 hours. The attacked Newspapers in Agartala are : 1) Pratibadi Kalam, 2) Daily Desher Katha.

All the attacks were done by the ruling BJP party allegedly in pre-planned mode. But even after having clear evidence, not a single arrest was done by the police.

Today journalists met IG Law and Order Arindam Nath and talked to him. Arindam Nath reportedly said that he will visit the offices today.
