AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): From Journalist Parashar Biswas to BJP's own party leader Prasenjit Chakraborty none was spared from being violently attacked after criticizing the BJP Govt and its Chief Minister. Dozens of opposition party workers were made handicapped for life-time, killed and thousands of opposition houses, party offices were burnt, but BJP MLA Kalyani Roy today has claimed that BJP did not organize a single violence in Tripura since 2018. After Udaipur BJP, CPI-M's clash, BJP held a protest rally in Agartala with hundreds of agitators' participation. While talking to media, BJP MLA Kalyani Roy claimed that under BJP no violence happened in Tripura due to CM Biplab Deb's strict order against violence, but now CPI-M has started attacks on BJP and in protest BJP kariyakartas are on road.

Recently in Dhanpur after attacking former CM Manik Sarkar, BJP workers received counter attacks. Today after throwing stones in CPI-M's rally, BJP workers were beaten up again.

At last, CPI-M party headquarter was set on fire by the BJP miscreants in Bishalgarh subdivision.

CPI-M said, amid any situation, the party will not tolerate any injustice to its workers and allow BJP to attack CPI-M workers which happened continuously in the last 3.5 years. Former CM Manik Sarkar said on September 6 that any undemocratic attack has to be countered in Dhanpur style.

Political scenarios explain, right now the Left front is carrying the highest mass support in Tripura in comparison to BJP or any other party. With the 2023 poll approaching, political tension is also escalating in this state.
